The tour price includes your seat in the van and your tour guide; entrance fees and personal expenses are not included unless stated otherwise in out prices section or the tour description.
We generally tour with nine-seater vans, but if you're traveling with a larger group or need a tour guide for your own bus, just let us know! For smaller groups of 2 to 4 people, we can also arrange transportation in a smaller vehicle, usually a limousine, for a more comfortable and personalized experience.
Yes, you can be picked up from your hotel or accommodation within the city of Salzburg for an additional fee of €10. For pickups outside the Salzburg city area, please send us an email. We will need to check if it is feasible within the tour schedule and will provide you with a tailored offer for the pickup service.
The extra fee for the pickup service is required because picking up guests from three or more different locations adds about an hour of additional work for the driver. This time is spent ensuring that all guests are picked up promptly from their designated points, which naturally takes more effort. Please be assured that the entire pickup fee goes directly to the driver-guide to compensate for the extra time and service provided. We hope this explanation clarifies the reason for the additional charge and appreciate your understanding.
Drop-off for our tours is generally at Mirabellplatz 4 in front of Mirabell palace. For some tours and walking tours it's in the centre. Please check your tour description.
Please let us know if you require a child seat; we have a wide selection available. Please note that you must also inform us if you are bringing babies, as babies require a baby seat in the vehicle, which means they need their own seat. It is prohibited to transport babies in the vehicle only on the lap of the parents.

If you cancel your tour more than 48 hours before the scheduled start, no cancellation fees will apply. However, please note that a 10% processing fee will be retained to cover payment transaction costs, bank charges, and similar expenses. For cancellations made between 48 and 24 hours prior to the tour, 50% of the total amount will be charged as a cancellation fee, in addition to the 10% processing fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
We reserve the right to cancel tours or impart your booking to co-operation partners in case of insufficient reservations. If this rare situation should occur we will get in touch with you immediately.
Please book your tour as far in advance as possible, especially if you want to tour between April and September or in December! Bob's Special Tours is a small family business and only has a limited amount of seats available.
