Important information

Bookings:

If possible reserve not later than one week prior to your arrival in Salzburg so we can make the arrangements necessary to insure your participation at the tour of your choice.

Tours:

We generally tour with nine seater vans; if you travel with bigger groups or need a tour guide for your own bus just let us know!

What we need:

Please specify which tour you would like, the exact date, time, number of people and the name of the hotel you'll be staying at in Salzburg. In addition we will need a credit card number with the name and expiration date to confirm your reservation.

Credit card details are required to reserve seats. We will not charge your credit card unless you cancel your tour later than 48 hours before tour start. Payment is recieved by cash or by credit card in our office.

Pick up:

For our morning tour your tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Salzburg or at our office between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. For the afternoon tour you need to arrive at our office at Rudolfskai 38 between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. unless arranged differently in advance. A pick up from your hotel for the afternoon tour is only possible in exceptional cases as our tour guides only have half an hour between a morning and an afternoon tour and should be able to use this time to rest.
Our office is conveniently located in the city centre, near Mozartsteg bus stop.

Drop off:

Drop-off for our tours is generally at our office. For our Sound of Music Tours drop-off is at Mirabell Garden in the city centre, but of course you can choose drop-off at our office as well.

Cancellation:

From 48 hours before tour start: 50% of tour price.
From 24 hours before tour start or no-show: 100% of tour price.

Bob's Special Tours reserves the right to cancel tours or impart your booking to co-operation partners under certain circumstances. These rare cases include vehicle breakdowns, dangerous road conditions (e.g. icy roads), closed attractions and insufficent bookings. Should such a situation occur, we will get in touch with you immediately. Please check your mails.

Cookies

a) Session cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files or other storage technologies stored on your computer by your browser. These cookies process certain specific information about you, such as your browser, location data, or IP address.

This processing makes our website more user-friendly, efficient, and secure, allowing us, for example, to display our website in different languages or to offer a shopping cart function.

The legal basis for such processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, insofar as these cookies are used to collect data to initiate or process contractual relationships.

If the processing does not serve to initiate or process a contract, our legitimate interest lies in improving the functionality of our website. The legal basis is then Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

When you close your browser, these session cookies are deleted.
