We took your Sound of Music tour when we were in Salzburg earlier this month and want you to know how very pleased we were with it and, especially, with our guide, Rosamaria.
There were four of us and because one was such a SOM fan, we decided to take the tour. And because of Rick Steves' recommendation, we decided it should be with Bob's.
Why anyone would go on a bus with 50 other people when they could have an experience like ours is a mystery to me! And for about the same cost! There was so much more to it than information about the movie, although there was a great deal of that also. Rosamarie included Salzburg history, information about various buildings, evnts and people. She answered dozens of questions with ease. It was like having a friend show you aroud her "home Town" - a city she knows very well and, obviously, loves. Some of us weren't too excited about a "movie tour" beforehand, but it turned out to be much more than that and one of the hightlights of our trip.
