On Sunday, 8 March, Rosa Maria was the guide/driver for the SOM Tour which I had reserved before leaving the US. She was truly outstanding in all respects. The drive through the snow-covered county side was particularly impressive.

Although we like and appreciate the classic movie, we are not fanatics, but we wanted to see and learn about Salzburg, and booked a very last minute afternoon tour on 26 December, 2008. We ended up being the only couple on the tour, and Sandra was very concientious of the waning daylight and re-arranged the scheduled stops so that we could see some of the attractions in the daylight. Sandra was a fantastic guide, and we loved learning of the history of the city/country, and the Von Trapp family, as well as the incredible sights.

Sandra was our tourguide for the entire day. We went to the salt mine as well. She was a very delightful, knowledgable guide.
